Virtual Singapore Pavilion @ ITAP 2020

The SMF led a virtual Singapore Pavilion with Enterprise Singapore at the Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC (ITAP) this year. Held from 20 October to 22 October 2020, some 20 local companies showcased their offerings in this jointly led virtual exhibition.

Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat delivered his opening address during ITAP 2020’s opening ceremony. This ceremony was attended by 100 onsite attendees in Singapore and broadcasted on ITAP’s online platform.

To allow visitors to explore these exciting possibilities, the SMF led a virtual Singapore Pavilion with Enterprise Singapore at the Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC (ITAP) this year. Held from 20 October to 22 October 2020, some 20 local companies showcased their offerings in this jointly led virtual exhibition. Visitors to the Singapore Pavilion saw companies presenting their latest technology, including solutions that manufacturers from all over the world can adopt to embark on their I 4.0 transformation journey.

Over 20 local companies were housed under the virtual Singapore Pavilion at ITAP 2020.

On the same week, the SMF signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HP Singapore Pte Ltd (HP) to provide 3D-Printing-as-a-Service to the manufacturing community in Singapore. The MOU signing was announced on the SMF’s exhibitor page in ITAP.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s first-ever hybrid edition of the ITAP saw over 5,000 registered attendees from countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and India. Look forward to ITAP 2021!
